On March 16, 2023, the full PU rubber running track built by GZBEVIS in the primary school affiliated south China normal university was successfully completed. The project was highly appraised by the acceptance party.
In June 2022, GZBEVIS and the school formally signed a project of full PU running track construction. GZBEVIS provides one-stop engineering services including runway design, runway material supply and runway construction.
The size of this track is designed to meet the international track & field standards. The total length of the track is 400m, the width of each track is 1.22m, the total width of 8 tracks is 9.76m and the radius for the semicircle area is 36.5 meters. To make sure no stagnant water remian after rainy day, the transverse slope (that is, the inclination of the outer road to the inner road) is designed to 0.8% (not greater than 1%). The performance of this track meets the criterion of IAAF.
To make sure no no stagnant water remian after rainy day, besides 0.8% slope desgin, a drainage system is also significant. GZBEVIS design a whole drainage system for the running track.
This track is a full PU running track. The full PU material is artificially synthesized from pure PU (polyurethane). The surface of the plastic runway has a granular structure and is non-water-permeable. The surface layer has good physical elasticity and high wear resistance, and can resist all kinds of bad weather conditions, long-term sunshine, rainy season and freezing climate.
The process of full PU type running track construction is comparatively simple, but quality of the track really depend on the technique and experience of construcion workers.
